A mandatory meeting for managers, coaches, tournament officials, and umpires will be held at 9:00PM at the National Conference Center, following opening ceremonies.
We will review the tournament rules as well as the expectations and logistics of play: warm‐up schedule, pre‐game announcements, substitution process, etc. We will also do the coin flips for home and away for each of the pool‐play games.
All 2011 Little League Baseball Tournament rules will be enforced and adhered to without exception. Neither the tournament officials nor the umpires have the authority to allow any variance without specific approval from the Tournament Committee in Williamsport. We ask that the teams are familiar with the Tournament playing rules and Little League safety rules before they arrive to help us avoid any misunderstandings.
