The photos that were taken during the tournament are available. Go to www.actionpixonline.com, click on View and Order Online in the right-hand column, and choose the 2008 VA State 9/10 Little League Tournament.

Parents, you should contact your manager for the password. Managers should be receiving the password via email. If not, managers can contact webmaster@vadist16.org.

SYA East, 2008 Virginia State 9 and 10-Year-Old Tournament Champions

Congratulations to our 2008 Virginia State 9 and 10-Year-Old Tournament Champions, SYA East!

In a game that featured a 2 hour and 18 minute rain delay that took us from serving ice pops to stay cool to hot chocolate to get warm, SYA East outscored the strong District 3 Bridgewater team to take the state title, 14 to 6.

District 16 and Central Loudoun Little League want to congratulate all the teams that played in the tournament, and to thank all the fans that came out and supported them. Our goal was to provide a memorable baseball tournament experience that the kids will be able to look back on years from now, and we hope we have accomplished it.

District 16 and Loudoun Girls Little League Softball is hosting the 2009 Virginia State Little League Softball Tournament for 11 and 12 year old girls at Freedom Park next year. And District 16 will be hosting the 2011 Virginia State Little League Baseball Tournament (Majors). We hope to see you all on a ball field again soon!
